Avient Fiber-Line to relocate its Fiber-Line International Plant from Leeuwarden (the Netherlands) to Drachten (the Netherlands)

We are pleased to announce that we are relocating our Fiber-Line International business in the Netherlandsfrom Leeuwardento Drachten.  This move supports growth across key end markets and aligns with our mission to be the global leader in customized coated and engineered composite fiber products. 

The facility in Drachten will double our current footprint including manufacturing and office space.

“With this substantial larger location in Drachten, we will be able to further expand our existing services and also add additional processes to support the international market in which we operate” says Arjan van der Veen, Managing Director Fiber-Line International.

 

Drachten’s strategic location ensures continuity of our workforce while offering sustainability advantages that support Avient’s commitment to achieving operational carbon neutrality and 100% renewable energy by 2050.

Preliminary planning is underway, and we expect our move will be complete by the end of September 2022. Our relocation to Drachten is exciting and it demonstrates Avient Fiber-Line’s mission to be the global leader in customized coated and engineered composite fiber products.
